Position: Ultrasound Technician

Location: Belleville, Ontario, Canada

Compensation: $45,000 to $50,000


Title: Ultrasound Technologist (Part-time/Full-time)
Hours: Flexible
Location: Belleville

Responsibilities:

*Perform all ultrasound examinations including abdominal, pelvic and small parts

*Observe patient safety practices.

*Receive and complete requisitions; enter relevant data into the diagnostic imaging information system

*Prepare patients for specific procedures, and conduct examinations utilizing ultrasound techniques.

Qualifications:

* Current A.R.D.M.S. and/or CARDUP Registration
* Skilled and experienced as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer
* Vascular and/or musculoskeletal experience an asset
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with excellent patient care is essential
* Ability to work independently as well as a member of a dynamic team
* Demonstrated effective decision making skills
* Strong organizational skills combined with effective problem solving abilities
