Order & Position Details

We are looking for a Programmer Analyst responsible for analyzing, recommending, and implementing technical solutions. This includes developing, documenting, testing and maintaining interactive and batch applications, as well as interfaces using J2EE, Java, SQL, Hibernate, and JSP in an Oracle development and service oriented (SOA) environment.

Compensation: $69,000
Relocation: Flat Fee

Responsibilities Include:
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements in order to increase application efficiency, capacity, and/or responsiveness to users.

• Ensure that adequate resources are identified during the definition process for on time completion

• Provide software application design, development, problem analysis, problem determination and resolution for software applications and interfaces

• Produce technical project plans and schedules utilizing company standard project management tools.

• Develop and maintain design, development, and deployment process standards and methodologies.

• Interface with vendors, users, and IT personnel in order to resolve problems involving applications software operation and performance

• Provide specific user training where necessary or requested

• Maintain effective communications and working relationships with management, teammates, and customers at all levels

Required Technical Qualifications:

• 4 years experience in the computer industry, with at least 2 years designing, planning and implementing computer applications based on relational database systems, preferably Oracle based systems
• 2 years recent experience with MicroFocus COBOL in an Oracle environment
• 2 years experience developing service components
• 2 years experience in a UNIX/Linux environment
• 1 year experience in writing interfaces between different applications and systems
• Experience in an Oracle environment (OAS, OC4J)
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field (AA/AS plus 4 years additional experience may be substituted.)

Desired skills include:

SQL, J2EE, JSP, Hibernate, JAVAS 5 SDK, JDeveloper, Eclipse, Oracle E-Business Suite, OCP certification or equivalent
