Order & Position Details
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Architect that will gather requirements, design end-to-end solutions, and deliver high-value and high-performing business intelligence solutions. This person will be responsible for driving BI maturity and data management practices. They will be involved at all levels of BI, from strategy to project execution to training.
Compensation: $78,000
Relocation: Flat Fee
Responsibilities Include:
• Consult with different business groups on their BI requirements
• Ability to engage several BI-related projects to guide requirements and development solutions
• Make recommendations on the BI architecture, tool suites, and processes for continuous improvement
• Develop on-going measures/monitoring for success and ROI of BI implementations Validate / approve deliverables from vendors including report designs and testing methodologies
• Configuration / Release Management, Monitoring / Tuning Practice and Scheduling
• Apply RAD principles to BI projects to deliver quick prototype solutions to the business for requirements validation
Required Technical Qualifications:
• 3 plus years BI / Data Warehousing experience
• 3 plus years ETL / ELT design & implementation
• 3 plus years using OBIEE+ / Siebel Analytics
• Understanding of Data Warehousing techniques Star / Snowflake schemas
• Experience with Data Modeling, ER diagrams, Repository Semantic Layer, Metadata design & implementation and OBIEE+ application performance and tuning
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Desired skills include:
Oracle 10g/11g; Oracle Data Integrator; Oracle Warehouse Builder; Linux/UNIX experience and OBIEE+ 9 (Answers, Delivers, BI Office & Publisher, Administration Tool)
