Compensation: $35,000 to $40,000
Full time Registered Practical Nurse required for a 60 bed Long-Term Care facility. works under the direction of the Director of Care to coordinate, supervise and ensure nursing care is delevered in a consistent and safe manner.
Orders, receives, processess and administers prescribed medictin and treatments in accordance with standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Assesses and monitors conditins of residents and report changes in physical or mental status to the attending Physician and family. Develops, revises and reviews resident Care Plans and implement and evaluates the effectiveness of the Care Plan.
Is responsive to maintain resident records and ensure that medication and treatment charting is done in compliance with estabished standarda and legislative requirements. Adheres to established policies and procedures Ensures compliance bu staff. Oversees the unit/facility activities , needs and problems related to resident care.
