Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Compensation: $55,000 to $60,000
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Freight Brokerage and Transborder Senior Sales professional will focus on growing Transborder and Intermodal sales, including LTL, FTL and Reefer freight moves. The successful candidate must be able to work independently to identify sales opportunities and develop sales strategies to increase revenue streams. The Freight Brokerage and Transborder Senior Sales professional will possess a solid understanding of Transborder and Intermodal services while striving to provide superior customer service.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Developing new Transborder business
Identify market opportunities to secure new business
Plan a sales strategy
Achieve revenue targets
Continuously maintain a current understanding of the marketplace and competition facing the organization
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to initiative, integrity, strong work ethic and being a team player:
- 7-10 years of Transborder and Intermodal sales experience including LTL,
- FTL and Reefer freight moves
- Sales experience within the Brokerage industry
- Strong Communication skills
- Well connected in the market
- Aggressive, hunter-style approach to sales
- Results-oriented
