Order & Position Details

EDUCATION/PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting with a minimum of 15 years previous experience in general/cost accounting and 5 years in a leadership capacity preferably in a Lean Enterprise environment utilizing the tools of lean management.

- Experience in the formulation of U.S. Government pricing rates, commercial pricing rates, and inventory rates required.

- Thorough knowledge of standard and actual costing methodologies required Advanced skills with data manipulation using Microsoft Office tools and Hyperion reporting tools involving importing and exporting data, use of query tools and report writers.

- Familiarity with mainframe/midrange/micro electronic data processing systems for accounting required in Mapics/SAP environments.

- Commentary on all significant changes from prior year actual results as well as previous budgets. Drive fact-based financial and operational analysis to assist in the creation of meaningful, actionable conclusions and business strategies, to progress decision making processes.

- Provide “operational insight” for the local Operations Management team, thus allowing the team to understand and manage the business, such as the detailed analysis of the monthly Cost of Sales/Margin analysis. Analyze cost and balance sheet risks and opportunities; projected impact on financial results of the Operation and provide recommendations
