Description:

• Position: Field Application Engineer (this person would be an “Application Engineer” and a “Sales Engineer” wrapped in one)


• Ideally the candidate will have a background selling in “aerospace & defense. They call on a number of companies of this nature and have big accounts that are “aerospace & defense” (i.e. Boeing).

• The candidate might also have a background in “test & measurement” or “industrial instrumentation”…. If this is the case, they would have called on the same types of customers just for slightly different reasons.


JOB DESCRIPTION


Field Application Engineer – Pacific Northwest

Home based: preferably in the Seattle, WA area (however anywhere within the territory WA, OR or ID)

Compensation: Base 57K – 85K with an estimated 30K-50K in commission potential (no cap)


A global leader in the design and manufacture of sensors and related instrumentation for aerospace, industrial, automotive, power generation, and test and measurement applications is looking for a Field Application Engineer to initiate sales growth through promotion, sales and customer support of the company’s sensors to its Pacific Northwest region customer base (Washington, Oregon, Idaho).

After completing extensive training in New York, ability to travel and work from a home-based office in the Pacific Northwest area is essential, preferably in the Seattle, Washington area (but anywhere within WA, OR or ID)

Requirements Qualified applicants should have a 4 year degree (preferably in a technical discipline) - min. of a 2 year degree - or equivalent specialized training. Must be willing to travel extensively.
